Margaret has always been inspired by the stunning scenery of the Scottish Western Isles. She wanted to capture the magic of a Hebridean beach and translate this into pieces of handmade jewellery. Sand is used with the kind permission of the West Harris Trust www.westharristrust.org

The lava beads represent the rugged and stark landscape of the east coast of Harris. The sand pieces represent the west coast beaches, transformed into silver art sculpture by a special and secret technique!
